LENTEN MISSION 2012

MARK YOUR CALENDARS
Our Lenten Mission will be February 27-29 2012. Please join us as we begin our Lenten journey and draw closer to God through Christ. This will be an opportunity for true spiritual growth and renewal of faith, of love and Christian commitment.

PRESENTER: Fr. Steve Thoma, C.R.; was ordained in 1991 upon graduation from Aquinas Institute of Theology. He currently is the Professor of Homiletics at St. John’s Seminary in California.

The Theme of our Mission is:
 “LIVING THE RESURRECTION IN LENT”
“FROM DEATH INTO LIFE THROUGH CHRIST”

DESCRIPTION:
A Mission is a special time of grace for a parish, a time to step aside with the Lord and be refreshed in His word. During this Lenten Mission we will look at the heart of discipleship in Jesus Christ, and at the joy that comes from living in His Spirit.

MONDAY FEBRUARY 27th:The seed of resurrection faith were planted throughout the life of Jesus, but it took a long time for His followers to understand and live it.”

TUESDAY FEBRUARY 28TH: “After Jesus’ passion and death, his followers were lost and scattered. Once they experienced Jesus as risen, resurrection faith was born.”

WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 29TH: Saints Peter and Paul built communities of faith based upon the belief that Jesus is raised from the dead. He is alive and guides us still as a Church and as individuals.”

There will be a 10am session with a repeat at 7pm each day.        There will be a free will offering
